Grey-Bruce Reports First Confirmed Case of Monkeypox

The person who was diagnosed with monkeypox lives in Grey-Bruce, but it is likely the infection was acquired outside of the county. The health unit has determined that the individual had only one close contact in the area and the health unit is following up with that person. The individual with the confirmed case is currently isolating at home....

Bruce County commences by-law enforcement on trails

By-laws will soon be enforced on some Bruce County Trails after they contracted an Owen Sound company [James Special Services Inc.] to provide enforcement services.... Officers will be patrolling to ensure that the trails are being used safely, that visitors are complying with park rules, and that permits related to motorized trail use are being followed....

June home sales down, listings hit historic high for Huron Perth

Home sales were 11.1% below the five-year average and 10.7% below the 10-year average for the month of June. Area home sales declined in June, as listings hit an all-time high, according to the latest numbers from the Huron Perth Association of REALTORS....
