Deal reached avoiding strike by college faculty

An agreement has been reached between OPSEU and the College Employer Council avoiding a strike at community colleges that would have begun today. There will also be no work-to-rule activities after both sides agreed to binding interest arbitration, meaning both parties authorize that a neutral third party can come in to assist with any outstanding issues to find a compromise....
