Grey Bruce Public Health Remind Residents that Some Public Health Measures Remain in Place

Grey Bruce Public Health is advising area residents that even in light of the Province lifting most of the remaining pandemic-related health measures that had been in place, like capacity limits in indoor spaces and proof of vaccination, some other measures remain. Face masks must still be worn, with the same exemptions as before, in indoor public spaces, businesses and organizations. Those same facilities are still required to have a safety plan in place and passive screening is also still required by posting signs at the entrance of the facility to inform people how to screen themselves. Physical distancing is also still encouraged by the Grey Bruce Health Unit....

Goderich’s Cait’s Cafe Donating to Huron Women’s Shelter on International Women’s Day Tuesday

The Huron County Chamber spread the word today of a great fundraiser planned for International Women’s Day on Tuesday, March 8th. Local business Cait’s Cafe, located on the Square in Goderich, will be donating 100% of their drip coffee & loose leaf tea sales that day to the Huron Women’s Shelter. Co-Owner of the Cafe, Spencer Vail, says that giving back is just part of their business....
