| Council Hears Saugeen Shores’ Annual Fire Report 02/27/2023 A report due to come to council at Monday’s meeting in Saugeen Shores says the Town’s fire service saw a 6.5 per cent increase in calls in 2022. The report from Director of Fire Services and Fire Chief Ed Melanson says that included 44 alarm activations, 36 carbon monoxide calls, 59 medical calls, and 31 motor vehicle collisions.... | Huron-Kinloss set to Flush Lakeshore Area Water Systems from March 6th through May 19th 02/27/2023 The Township of Huron-Kinloss is advising residents of upcoming Lakeshore Area Water System hydrant flushing to beginning March 6th and running through May 19th. The areas impacted include Point Clark north to Huronville. During this time they say you may experience changes in pressure and/or discolouration of water with residents encouraged to remove all faucet screens and filters and thoroughly flush their water systems....
