COVID-19  Six New Cases Reported Sunday In Grey Bruce

Six new cases of COVID-19 were reported by the Grey Bruce Health Unit Sunday. Two residents of Chatsworth tested positive, as well as one in Owen Sound, The Town of The Blue Mountains, Northern Bruce Peninsula and Arran Elderslie.... there are 29 active cases in the region, eight of which are deemed variants of concern. Over the course of the pandemic there have been two deaths in Grey Bruce related to COVID-19. Public Health says 18,871 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered locally to date....

New ultrasound machine coming to Kincardine hospital

Beginning in April the Echocardiography services will be expanded at the South Grey Bruce Health Centre Kincardine site. A second ultrasound machine will be added to increase the number of exams done per year by 2700. Since 2017, a team of four Cardiologists, with expertise in Electrophysiology, Interventional Cardiology and Heart Failure have been conducting clinics on a weekly basis making the site a referral centre....

Motorized rickshaws coming to Goderich

Seniors in Goderich will be able to get a lift around town without the use of a car. Gerry O’Brien and Blaine Nester of Cycling Without Age appeared before Council last Monday offering to donate a motorized rickshaw. Mayor John Grace says the rickshaw can carry two passengers plus the volunteer driver (or pilots as they are called) and it is a way to get more seniors ...
