Covid: Zero New Cases In Grey Bruce

For a third straight day, the Grey Bruce Health Unit is reporting zero new Covid cases in the region. The active known case load in Grey Bruce is now down to 14... Three area residents are currently hospitalized.....There are 50 active high-risk close contacts identified by Public Health. Seven Grey Bruce residents have died from the virus over the course of the pandemic....

Kincardine hospital reopens main entrance on Tuesday

The main entrance to the Kincardine Hospital will reopen to the public Tuesday at Noon. The entrance had been temporarily relocated in January to allow for reconstruction in preparation of an addition that will house a new CT scanner. The addition will be built along the East wall of the South wing, right next to the entrance....

Debris found on Point Clark beach believed to be wreckage of old ship

A group of archaeologists are scouring the Point Clark beach area in hopes of finding more evidence of a long lost cargo ship. The Homer H Hine was carrying lumber when it sank off the shores of Point Clark in 1883. Several pieces of the ship washed ashore over the course of  May....
