SBGHC announce President & CEO Michael Barrett not renewing contract

The South Bruce Grey Health Centre issued a press release this afternoon announcing that President & CEO  for the Organization Michael Barrett has elected not to renew his contract beyond its expiry date of March 31st of next year.... SBGHC says recruitment process has been initiated with a goal of having a new President & CEO in place in time to allow suitable overlap prior to his March 31st departure....

Goderich motel named chamber’s Business of the Year

The Maple Leaf Motel in Goderich was named Business of the Year at this weekend’s annual Huron Chamber of Commerce awards.... Judges said Maple Leaf Motels application was so genuine and cheerful that even though owners Iqbal Shaukat and Tahseen Tahira are new to the community, they honour the history of the business....

South Bruce OPP Respond To 48 Collisions Involving Deer In November
11/28/2022
South Bruce OPP says that between October 2nd and 17th of this year, they responded to 16 collisions involving deer. They also say that the amount of deer-related collisions in the county went up for the month of November. No injuries were reported at any of the scenes. Between November 4th and 24th, they responded to 48 crashes involving the animals....

Kincardine Christmas Market raising funds for food bank

This Sunday (Dec 4) there will be a Christmas Market Fundraiser at the Kincardine Pavillion in support of the local foodbank. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 4 there will be over 30 artisans, bakers and vendors selling their seasonal wares. There will also be a silent auction and donations collected at the door to support the Kincardine Ministerial Food Bank....
