Ontario Extending Stay-at-Home Order Until June 2nd

Premier Doug Ford says the stay-at-home order will continue until June 2nd. On April 16th, Ford extended the lockdown order to a total of six weeks until May 20th. Now he says it will be kept in place further....Virtual learning will continue for the time being too. All publicly funded and private elementary and secondary schools in the province will continue to operate under teacher-led remote learning....

13 New COVID-19 Cases Reported In Grey Bruce Wednesday

13 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Grey Bruce Wednesday. Four residents of Kincardine tested positive, along with three in South Bruce, two in Arran-Elderslie, and one in Georgian Bluffs, Hanover, Saugeen Shores and West Grey....there are 46 active cases in the region including 24 variants and 112 active high risk contacts associated with the region’s cases....

Grey Bruce top doctor happy with vaccine distribution, would like to see Stay-at-Home order extended past long weekend

Grey Bruce’s Chief Medical Officer of Health is quite satisfied with the vaccine rollout. The latest data from the health unit suggests 65,664 people received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 6,544 received their second dose and are fully-vaccinated....

Bruce County paramedics to offer COVID vaccines at homes

Some Bruce County residents can now get vaccinated without leaving their homes.
Bruce County Paramedic Services are setting up teams that will travel around the County to deliver and administer COVID-19 vaccines to those who are unable to go to a clinic for health reasons....
