Covid-19: One New Case In Grey Bruce

One new Covid case (an Owen Sound resident) was reported by the Grey Bruce Health Unit Tuesday....The active known case load in the region is now 15. One person is currently hospitalized. On vaccination progress: 15,668 doses have been administered in the region to date. The Health Unit says it received shipments of 1,500 Moderna and 2,340 Pfizer doses this week....

Online booking system up and running after Grey Bruce residents experience technical issues

Short work was made on the problems to the provincial online booking system for COVID-19 appointments. The Grey Bruce Health Unit announced Tuesday afternoon just before three that they and operators of the online portal were able to address the issues within hours. There was no mention as to the cause of the glitches that forced people to contact the health unit directly....

Kincardine Releases Council Remuneration Report For 2020

It cost Kincardine taxpayers over $278,000 in salary, per diems and expenses of Kincardine council in 2020. Mayor Anne Eadie led the way with a salary of just over $36,600, plus per diem and expenses, bringing the total to just over $50,000....
