Two New COVID-19 Cases Reported In Grey Bruce Tuesday

Public Health says a resident of West Grey and a resident of Blue Mountains tested positive....there are 35 active known cases in the region including 21 variants and 121 active high-risk contacts of the region’s cases. Three local people are hospitalized and 5 people transferred from other health units are in local Intensive Care Units....

Bluewater students attend virtual presentation by former Canadian representative to UN

Students grades 7 through 12 in the Bluewater District School Board were given the opportunity to listen-in on someone who knows about the importance of education, children’s rights and discrimination. Stephen Lewis is a humanitarian with 42 honorary degrees from universities in both Canada and the US. He is the former leader of the Ontario NDP and the former Deputy Executive Director of UNICEF, to name a few of his accomplishments....

Huron Shores Hospice exceeds fundraising goal from virtual walk

It appears COVID-19 had nothing on Huron Shores Hospice. Co-chair Cheryl Cottrill says as of Tuesday, the organization managed to raise $74,168 from Saturday’s virtual Hike for Hospice. That is well above their $50,000 goal that they had originally set out....
