Covid: Health Unit Reports Six New Cases In Grey Bruce

The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported six new Covid cases:...residents of Arran-Elderslie, Brockton, Grey Highlands, Hanover, Saugeen Shores and Southgate tested positive....the region’s active known cases are 54.... Two Grey Bruce residents are currently hospitalized. There are 160 active high-risk close contacts identified by Public Health. On vaccination progress in Grey Bruce: 62,486 doses have been administered to date.,,,

Brockton Mayor would like fair representation on an amalgamated police services board

A move is in the works to amalgamate the five municipal police services boards that are serviced by South Bruce OPP into one board. A plan by the Ministry of the Solicitor General originally saw Kincardine, Huron-Kinloss, and Brockton merge (due to their Section 10 contract with the OPP). Recently, Arran-Elderslie and South Bruce were also included in the plan....
