| Stratford-Bruce Peninsula Unemployment Rate Fell To 3.5% In April 06/10/2024 The regional unemployment rate in the area that includes Bruce and Grey counties fell to 3.5 per cent in April, It’s the lowest jobless number for the Stratford-Bruce Peninsula region in nearly two years. The Four County Labour Market Planning Board says there were more than 3,200 new full-time positions created in the region last month, partially offset by the loss of 1,200 part-time jobs....
