Ontario Health Coalition Holding Local Public Hearings

The Ontario Health Coalition is holding a series of public hearings across the province to develop recommendations for the future of hospitals.This comes after more than 1200 closures of emergency departments for local hospital services within the last year. Local hearings will be held on June 18th starting in the morning from 10:30am-12:30pm at the Chesley Community Centre Community Hall....

Bank Of Canada Announces First Interest Rate Cut Since 2020

Canadians are getting a little bit of interest rate relief. The Bank of Canada announced Wednesday morning it is lowering its benchmark policy overnight rate target by 25 basis points, to 4.75 per cent. The central bank cited easing inflation and slower economic growth as factors in its decision....
